Analytical Technician

• Perform non-routine and routine complex analyses.
• Ensure the effective operation of analytical systems and the lab’s adherence to TIMS.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated as required by our quality management system
• Write procedures for the use of laboratory equipment and train other employees on these tasks
• Assure the quality of analytical data provided 
• Act as coordinator and trainer for new students

• Associates degree (or equivalent coursework) in technical curriculum (preferably chemistry, engineering, chemical technology, etc.)
• 1 year in lab environment with analytical lab experience
• Understanding of quality systems and use of laboratory equipment involved in polymer analysis
• Experience with GC-MS and LC-MS.
