To support our business, we are looking for a self-starter Application Engineer to work in a dynamic environment and shape the future growth of the company.

Position Summary:
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to work in a dynamic environment and shape the future growth of the company. You will be part of a team of 13 professional Application Engineers all over Europe. All performed activities will be reported to the European Application Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install and train Datacolor equipment, such as color matching software and quality control software at customer locations in EMA, particularly in Germany

Conduct telephone, email, and web support to help solve color-related problems at customer sites

Assist the sales team by demonstrating software solutions to potential customers and help them achieve desired results

Assist in organizing color seminars, customer training events, and webinars, and present to larger audiences over time

Experience & Qualifications:

Industry experience in color management (Textile, Paint, Ink, Chemicals, Pigments, Plastic, Printing or similar)

Fluent in German and English; other EU languages are a plus

Proficient in Windows software and CRM tools (Salesforce.com is a plus)

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Ability to travel approximately 50%

Team player with the ability to work independently

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Experience with Colour Matching and Quality Control systems is a plus

Good computer skills including Sybase, SQL, Citrix and terminal server applications

Location:
Preferred location between North Rhein Westfalen / Hessen / Niedersachsen. Role mainly home-based or at client site.
