About the Role

A fast-growing deep-tech startup is looking for a Business Development Manager to help build its international business from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the founders and engineering team, develop new customer relationships, and take opportunities from the first conversation all the way to commercial deals.

What You'll Do

• Find and develop new B2B business opportunities internationally.
• Build relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales journey, from first contact to evaluation, design-in, negotiation, and series production.
• Turn complex technology into clear and compelling customer value.
• Build and grow a strong sales pipeline.
• Prepare customer presentations, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Work closely with the engineering team to understand customer needs and find the right solutions.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs and customer meetings.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in B2B hardware, electronics, sensor technology, technical sales, or business development.
• Experience working with OEM customers and complex, project-based sales.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to explain complex technology in a simple way.
• Experience managing opportunities from early-stage evaluation or prototypes through to production.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Business-fluent German and English.
• A hands-on, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Experience in sensors, electronics, hardware, or other deep-tech industries is a strong plus.
