Who we are

At Roofline, we are enabling the local execution of AI models on mobile and embedded devices. Our AI compiler technology brings modern AI models into real-world applications that are energy-efficient and secure. By collaborating with leading semiconductor players, we unlock novel AI applications in areas like robotics, automotive, and wearables.

We are fast-growing, backed by leading investors, and awarded multi-million-euro funding by the EU as a critical AI infrastructure start-up. Our world-class engineering team is up and running, now we need to step up how we communicate what we are building. That’s why we are looking for our first full-time marketing hire: Someone to take ownership and shape how Roofline is perceived by customers, partners, and the broader AI ecosystem. This role is either on-site in Cologne or remote within Europe.

Your mission

Build our content marketing foundation: Take the working pieces we have and turn them into a focused marketing engine that you will define along the way.
Own content & communication: Drive thought leadership, website, case studies, demo articles, outlets, conference presence, etc.
Translate technology into value: Work closely with our engineers to understand our product and turn that into clear, compelling narratives.
Be hands-on across everything: From strategy to writing, storytelling, tools, analytics, and distribution.
Shape our positioning: Refine how we present ourselves versus alternatives and develop messaging that we apply across all channels.
Focus on what matters: Constantly ask “Why are we doing this?” and focus time and resources on what creates the most impact.

Your profile

Strong storytelling ability, enabling you to turn complex, technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
Marketing expertise and entrepreneurial mindset paired with a strong interest in working in a technology-driven environment.
An AI-savvy working style, having the curiosity to identify and implement tools that multiply the impact of your skills.
You take ownership and follow through without someone looking over your shoulder.
3+ years of experience in a relevant environment, ideally fast-paced and close to AI or semiconductors.
