Shine is the financial copilot for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Founded by serial entrepreneurs Rico Andersen and Martin Hegelund, Shine is a leading European fintech unicorn on a mission to restore the joy of running a business, by ending wasted time on financial admin. Shine offers a connected solution for invoicing, accounting, payroll, business accounts, payments, and financing, meaning business owners can focus their energy on growing a healthy business, not held back by manual admin.

Part of something bigger
Today we're part of Cegid, a European leader in cloud software for finance and accounting. Together we're building Europe's leading financial copilot for small businesses and their accountants.
Shine already supports more than 400,000 small businesses. As part of Cegid, we now reach over one million small businesses and 15,000 accountants across Europe.
We're a multicultural team working from France, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, contributing to a wider European network that spans Spain, Portugal.

Your hiring experience matters
Just as we respect our customers' time, we respect yours. Your experience with Shine and Cegid should feel simple, transparent and genuinely supportive.
If this sounds like somewhere you want to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

Here's a quick look at how our team is structured

• Pilar, our VP Customer Success, is leading the build of the Customer Success function at Shine, with a clear mandate: create a human-led revenue engine rooted in customer value.

• You will be joining a team being built from the ground up, which means you'll have direct impact on how Customer Success is defined and executed at Shine.

• You are the commercial engine for our German business. You work the sevdesk customer base, and kontist joins your scope as we phase it in.

• You report to our Team Lead Growth and work alongside colleagues running the same motions in France, Denmark and the Netherlands.

• You'll work hands-on with tools like HubSpot, Aircall and Mojo to run your outreach sequences and manage your call pipeline.

Your Role as a Customer Growth Manager DE

Your mission? Grow our German revenue on both ends - win new customers, and grow and keep the ones we already have. You will be on the phone every day, and you will carry a number.

What you'll be doing day-to-day

• Acquire new customers. Work inbound leads and run outbound sequences to small businesses and freelancers in Germany. Qualify, demo, close. This is real new business, not order-taking.

• Own expansion sales. Call existing sevdesk customers, understand how their business has changed, and recommend the subscription tier or add-on that actually fits. You own the upsell number for Germany.

• Prevent churn and win customers back. Our German winback and churn prevention motion goes live in September. You take the retention conversations: spot the risk early, handle the objection, demonstrate the value, and bring back the ones who already left.

• Sell through every touchpoint. Phone first, supported by email and chat. Document every activity, opportunity and outcome in HubSpot accurately.

• Own your commercial performance. Work to clear revenue and activity targets, watch your own conversion rates, and improve your approach without waiting to be told.

How you'll be measured

• New customer revenue and conversion rate

• Upsell and cross-sell rate, and ARPU uplift on your base

• Churn saved and winback save rate

• Call volume and pipeline discipline

About you

• Natural drive and empathy. You genuinely enjoy being on the phone, you listen far more than you speak, and you have the resilience to shake off a "no".

• Proven track record. Experience in sales, account management, inside sales or another conversion-focused role, ideally in a high-volume, customer-facing environment. SaaS or fintech is a plus, and so is having sold to small business owners.

• You can do both sides. Hunting new customers and growing existing ones are different muscles. We need someone who is comfortable with both.

• A performance mindset. You are structured, dependable, and you treat your KPIs as a roadmap rather than a report card.

• A team-first attitude. You aren't afraid to ask for help, you're quick to offer it, and you view feedback as a tool for personal growth.

• Tech fluency. Instantly comfortable with Slack, HubSpot, Aircall, Mojo and Notion.

• Language proficiency. Native or bilingual fluency in German, paired with a clear, professional command of English.
