Design Director (m/w/d)

We are looking for a versatile and passionate Design Director (m/f/d) with experience in the areas of branding, brand identity and communication at our location in Herrenberg. With a high level of craftsmanship, strong ideas and conceptual thinking, you will confidently lead your team through all phases of a design project - from conception to realization. You will manage a portfolio of different clients, from global players to local start-ups.

• You have a holistic understanding of the brand, incorporate global trends into brand development and are responsible for the creative direction of your team
• Develops and implements new innovative concepts, manages the creative process while keeping an eye on feasibility and profitability
• Promote your team, recognize development potential and set impulses
• Build customer relationships and manage budgets independently and confidently
• Organizes and leads workshops
• Creates internal and external presentations

• 8 years of professional experience as a designer (preferably with experience in FMCG)
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
• Particular strengths in strategy and conception as well as global brand management
• Leadership experience of international teams
• Confidence in dealing with and looking after customers
• Enthusiasm and team spirit to successfully tackle daily challenges
• Excellent knowledge of German
