Director External Comms

As a Director External Communications here at Honeywell, (internally titled Director External Comms) you will be the senior leader responsible for directing and orchestrating the organization's entire external communication strategy. Your role encompasses strategic planning, overseeing the external communication team, and ensuring the consistent, effective messaging to external audiences, including media, customers, partners, and stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the organization's reputation, brand image, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic external communication plans to enhance the companys brand and reputation


• Lead a team of external communication professionals to deliver highquality communication materials and initiatives


• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders


• Manage crisis communication and issues management


• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives

You Must Have

• 8+ years of experience


• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong leadership and team management abilities


• Experience in crisis communication and issues management
