EU New Proposal Specialist

Job Summary:

This position is designed for MS or Ph.D. who are bilingual in English & Chinese and have strong desire to grow a career and make an impact in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The location for this position will be in the EU/Ireland/England and work remotely from home.

Responsibilities

• The primary role and responsibility of this position will be writing CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) related contracts/proposals for WuXi Biologics’ clients.

• Work with business development (BD) team and CMC team located at EU and function teams in China to identify project scope and draft project proposals.


• Coordinate and drive progress across various stakeholders involved in the quoting process to ensure timely completion of internal approval and submission.


• Maintain and develop proposal templates: regularly collect feedback from internal teams, drive alignment across functions, and update templates to reflect evolving business needs and best practices.


• Continuously improve proposal design by incorporating market feedback and advancements in new technologies; support the development of new service packages and standardized templates.


• Create and optimize internal processes by actively identifying workflow bottlenecks, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements to enhance overall efficiency.


• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support business decision-making.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Master/Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Biology/Chemistry or related fields.


• Overall understanding of CMC process


• Stable working permit in the EU/Ireland/England

• Self-starter, self-motivated, highly flexible with the dynamic project activities and international work time zones


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight timelines.

• Excellent scientific writing skill


• Fluent in Chinese and English in writing, reading, and speaking.
