The Role:

As part of our Facilities team, you will play an important role in ensuring our machinery, equipment, and site facilities remain safe, reliable, and operational. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys identifying problems, finding practical solutions, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a technical facility.

What you will be doing:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and site facilities.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out appropriate repairs where possible.
• Support general facilities maintenance and practical site-related tasks as required.
• Respond proactively to maintenance issues and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the wider facility.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is practical, technically minded, and comfortable working independently to identify and resolve problems.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in the maintenance, repair, or servicing of machinery and equipment.
• A good mechanical understanding, with electrical knowledge or experience considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
• A relevant technical background or qualification, ideally as an Industrial Mechanic, Machinist, Toolmaker, Mechatronics Technician, or similar.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• The ability to work independently, identify issues, and implement practical solutions.
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake a variety of facilities and maintenance activities.
