Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Field Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical field support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, hardware related, some software troubleshooting as well.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product design based on field experiences.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools required for field service tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role.
• 0 up to 7 years of experience in a similar filed or role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and equipment functionality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with traveling to clients and staying with client until the project is over.
• Strong command of Chinese and English
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
