The group partners closely with global analog, digital, and product teams throughout the design and silicon lifecycle.\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are hiring an IO Design Architect to design new architecture, analysis, and validation of high\u2011speed memory IO. This role combines hands\u2011on circuit understanding with system\u2011level thinking and close collaboration across multiple design teams.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Define and own the IO and PHY concepts for high\u2011speed memory interfaces\n\n\n\n\n * Perform block\u2011level simulation, analysis, and feasibility checks\n\n\n\n\n * Review and guide schematic\u2011level implementation to align with architectural intent\n\n\n\n\n * Support verification, silicon bring\u2011up, and debug activities\n\n\n\n\n * Collaborate with global cross\u2011functional teams to ensure accurate system integration\n\n\n\n\n * Use automation and AI\u2011based tools to improve modeling and analysis workflows\n\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * Minimum 10 years of experience designing mixed\u2011signal IO blocks, including schematic design and simulation\n\n\n\n\n * Proficiency with SPICE or similar circuit simulation tools\n\n\n\n\n * Hands\u2011on experience with Cadence or Synopsys schematic entry environments\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to understand, model, and evaluate block\u2011level behavior\n\n\n\n\n * Experience working in Unix/Linux environments\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Scripting skills (Python, TCL, SKILL, Perl or similar) for analysis or automation\n\n\n\n\n * Familiarity with extraction and modeling tools\n\n\n\n\n * Experience collaborating with cross\u2011functional design teams in a semiconductor environment\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Design Eng SMTS\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
