IT/OT Technical Delivery Manager (m/f/d)

Work with us and support us as an IT/OT Technical Delivery Manager (m/f/d) in providing a smoothly functioning integration of all IT/OT components that are necessary to drive our business processes. You will be responsible in providing a solid sizing and secure base infrastructure for our software landscape to be hosted on, especially with focus on high availability, disaster recovery, complemented by secure information, communication and remote access design. An exciting task, an international customer base and a dynamic and highly motivated team are awaiting you.

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the technical management of IT/OT aspects for integration solutions in international projects, ensuring delivery stays within defined scopes, budgets, and timelines


• You accompany projects on-site and/or remotely throughout all project life cycle phases, starting from the sales through implementation and handover to the customer and subsequent hyper care / support phase


• You develop and design IT/OT architectures taking into account state of the art high availability, redundancy and security standards


• You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into technical designs, followed by implementations


• You coordinate internal and external stakeholders involved in the project, acting as the primary technical point of contact to manage expectations and resolve conflicts


• You are steering and supervising our related suppliers , ensuring their deliverables meet quality, schedule, and cost agreements


• You identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks early in the lifecycle to minimize project delays and budget overruns


• You present, argue and adapt solution proposals in collaboration with our international customers’ IT experts


• You regularly monitor and report the level of progress to management in a structured manner


• You create technical documentation for general project management, customers, suppliers and create work instructions for our resident IT/OT engineers

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related trainings / certifications (ICT area)


• Proven track record in technical project management or lead engineering roles, ideally supported by certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• Proven expertise in engineering medium to large scale IT/OT integration projects in plant engineering (automated intralogistics and/or production systems), this means: Ability to assess the advantages and disadvantages of various options for IT architecture. Experience with physical and virtual server setups, network and security infrastructure design. Experience with datacenter design principles. Knowledge in IT security and related design principles. Ideally on-premise expertise is complemented by Cloud expertise


• Several years of experience in requirements analysis for IT/OT systems in the field of automation and/or production environments


• Strong expertise in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and supplier steering within complex engineering environments


• Proven expertise with SLAs and the associated design of highly available IT environments (ITIL v4)


• You speak French and English, fluently both spoken and written, and are willing to travel worldwide in connection with project assignments


• Excellent analytical skills, a strong customer focus, stress resilience and intercultural competence complement your profile as a team player
