Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Für unseren Standort in Weilburg suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine erfahrene Führungspersönlichkeit als Materials Handling Manager (w/m/d). Sie übernehmen die Gesamtverantwortung für unseren Warehouse- und Lagerbereich und stellen effiziente, sichere und zukunftsfähige Logistikprozesse sicher.

• Sie organisieren und steuern den gesamten Lagerbetrieb – von Wareneingang, Lagerung und Inventur über Kommissionierung bis Versand – und koordinieren interne sowie externe Lagerbereiche.
• Sie stellen einen reibungslosen, unterbrechungsfreien und termingerechten Materialfluss sicher und überwachen alle relevanten Abläufe.
• Sie verantworten das Bestandsmanagement, führen Inventuren durch und stimmen sich eng mit Produktion, Einkauf und Logistik zur Sicherstellung der Materialverfügbarkeit ab.
• Sie wirken aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung des Produktionslogistik-Konzepts mit und sichern die lückenlose Versorgung der Fertigung.
• Sie führen, planen und entwickeln Ihr Team im Lager, sorgen für klare Kommunikation und führen regelmäßige Mitarbeitergespräche.
• Sie stellen die Einhaltung und Weiterentwicklung von Qualitäts‑, Arbeitssicherheits- und Lean-Standards (u. a. KVP, 5S) sicher.
• Sie managen und pflegen die Betriebsmittel im Lager, einschließlich Stapler, Flurförderfahrzeuge, Hubwagen, Werkzeuge und weiterer Logistikmittel.
• Sie analysieren Kennzahlen, identifizieren Optimierungspotenziale und steigern Effizienz, unter anderem durch den gezielten Einsatz von Lagertechnik und Software.
• Sie agieren als zentrale Schnittstelle zu internen Fachbereichen, koordinieren Außenläger und sind erste Ansprechperson.
• Sie arbeiten in internationalen Projekten zur Prozessoptimierung, Einführung neuer EDV-Anwendungen sowie bei der Planung eines neuen Logistikgebäudes mit und übernehmen Teilverantwortung.

Minimum Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich Logistik, Supply Chain, Betriebswirtschaft oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Logistik- bzw. Warehouse-Umfeld, idealerweise in einem Produktionsunternehmen.
• Nachweisliche Führungserfahrung sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Durchsetzungsfähigkeit.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Sehr gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere Excel.
• Gute SAP-Kenntnisse im Umfeld Lager/Materialwirtschaft sind von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung im Projektmanagement sowie Freude an Prozessoptimierung und internationaler Zusammenarbeit.
• Schnelle Auffassungsgabe, hohe Flexibilität sowie eine strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
