About our Team

Our team is part of the CEMEA region, and we oversee the sale of products such as Lexis+, MLex, Caselex, Law360, and Create+. Our market coverage includes Northern, Southern, and Western Europe, specifically Germany.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious New Business Development Manager willing to grow in sales and to drive new client acquisition in the German market, selling LexisNexis workflow solutions to legal professionals. Our workflow solutions are software products designed for lawyers and legal teams. They combine trusted legal content with practical tools—such as research platforms, document drafting tools, analytics, task management, and collaboration features—to streamline day-to-day legal work and improve productivity. You will take a consultative, solution-led sales approach, working with law firms and corporate legal departments to understand their challenges and position LexisNexis tools as essential components of their legal workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition across the German market, focusing on [target segment e.g. enterprise / mid-market]

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including complex deal negotiations

  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and revenue delivery

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new logos

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to deliver a seamless customer journey

Requirements:

  • Strong track record in B2B new business (“hunter”) sales with consistent overachievement

  • Experience selling SaaS, software, or data/information solutions into [relevant industry if possible]

  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Germany -Bonn €50,600 - €84,400. Total Target Cash Range: €77,900 - €129,800. If performed in any of the following locations: DEU Home Based – Frankfurt; Germany – Frankfurt (Baseler Platz); Germany – Munich; Home Based – Bavaria; Home Based – Hamburg; Home Based – Hesse; Home Based – Munich; or Home Based – Saarland, the base pay range is €53,100 - €88,500. The total target cash range is €81,800 - €136,400. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
