Product and UX Copywriter (24hrs/week; 1 year fix-term)

As a Product and UX Copywriter you’ll have the opportunity to shape and contribute to Clue’s product and UX writing while collaborating closely with our product, design, and research teams, as well as other stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Write UX and product copy following writing best practices throughout.


• Guide users through their experience across our product.


• Help build a cohesive experience and craft compelling narratives.


• Work within a cross-functional team environment and stay accountable to shared goals.


• Help define a compelling tone of voice and create a clear, cohesive product communication style.


• Translate complex scientific concepts and technical solutions into language our users can easily understand.


• Ensure consistency across the product, so users don't have to think twice when moving between features.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You're an excellent writer with strong communication and editing skills.


• You write with native-level fluency in English and understand inclusive, accessible language.


• You can take ownership of Clue's UX writing and collaborate closely with the product and design team, and other stakeholders.


• You write clear microcopy that makes the product easy to understand, and you ensure your work aligns with our brand guidelines, tone of voice, and target audience.


• You understand usability and UX best practices, as well as user research principles and practices.


• You write with a degree-level command of English — spelling and grammar included.


• You have experience writing copy that not only makes the product great, but also engages the audience and drives conversions. 


• You have 5+ years creating product content for digital products, including UX copywriting and copy-editing.
