About the Position
In this position, you will design and manage strategic cloud initiatives relating to T Cloud Public that lie outside or adjacent to the core IaaS/PaaS product roadmap. The focus will be on partnerships, partner-based cloud offerings, adjacent cloud services, and new business opportunities that initially need to be developed across functions.
The role combines independent responsibility for strategic initiatives with an executive office function supporting Senior Management. You will structure initially undefined topics, develop viable offerings and high-level solution directions, bring relevant stakeholders together, and drive the topics through to operationalisation or handover to the responsible line organisation.
The focus will be on developing SaaS partnerships and adjacent cloud offerings, including AI-based services, sovereign solutions, and partner-based offerings. You will evaluate partners, develop value propositions and business cases, compare deployment and solution options, and prepare robust decision-making documents for management.
Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Partner Management, Legal, Finance, Security, and other relevant functions, you will manage cross-functional coordination while remaining responsible for the content and substance of your initiatives. For selected non-core offerings, you may temporarily assume ownership until a structured handover to the responsible organisation is possible.
The executive office component includes preparing Senior Management for internal and external meetings and appearances. This includes management presentations, briefings, talking points, decision-making documents, panel preparations, and the content-related preparation of selected partner meetings, customer appointments, and industry events.
This role is explicitly not a traditional Executive Assistant position and does not include calendar and travel management, travel expense processing, or administrative meeting coordination.
Must-Have Skills
- Several years of professional experience in strategic business development, corporate strategy, cloud partnerships, digital transformation, strategic initiatives, or a comparable role
- Solid experience with cloud, SaaS, technology ecosystems, or platform-based business models
- Proven ability to independently structure initially undefined strategic topics and develop them into clear offerings and actionable approaches
- Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to prepare analyses, business cases, presentations, concepts, and decision-making documents independently
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a pragmatic and execution-oriented approach
- Experience working across organisational boundaries and driving initiatives involving multiple senior stakeholders
- Good understanding of cloud and SaaS business models, partner ecosystems, and adjacent digital offerings
- Sufficient technical depth to understand and help shape high-level solution architectures
- Good understanding of cloud architectures, SaaS deployment models, APIs, integration patterns, and security and sovereignty requirements
- Ability to compare architecture and deployment options and define high-level solution principles together with Product and Architecture teams
- Ability to combine strategic, commercial, product-related, and technical perspectives
- Strong entrepreneurial judgement and the ability to develop robust business cases and commercial concepts
- A high level of ownership, reliability, independence, and execution focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to prepare concise documents suitable for management
- Confidence in working directly with Senior Executives and external partners
- Fluent English skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working directly with external technology or SaaS partners
- Experience with SaaS partnerships, partner-based cloud offerings, and the development of value propositions
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, SaaS deployment models, APIs, and integration patterns
- Experience with sovereign cloud solutions, AI-based services, or other adjacent digital offerings
- Experience evaluating partners, technology ecosystems, and commercial cooperation models
- Experience preparing market analyses, business cases, offering concepts, and decision-making documents
- Experience preparing executive presentations, management briefings, talking points, and panel formats
- Experience with high-level solution design and the evaluation of technical solution and deployment options
- Knowledge of cloud security, data sovereignty, and operating models
- Experience managing cross-functional strategic initiatives through to operationalisation or structured handover
- German language skills are an advantage
