We have set ourselves the goal to expand the existing customer base in Asia, Europe and the rest of the world. For this reason, we are looking for a PV Metrology Consultant (m/f/d) to strengthen our sales team as soon as possible.

You will continue to expand sales for WAVELABS worldwide (regional focus possible):

WAVELABS will be (re-)presented by you at trade fairs and conferences
You will be the contact person for our clients and customers in advanced PV R&D and manufacturing
You consult institutes, researchers and PV manufacturers, understand their needs and create metrology solutions to face their challenges in device characterization
You will conduct market analyses, identify potential new customers and evaluate technical market trends and reflect the results into the organization
You win new clients, prepare quotes and lead contract negotiations
Identify and review project tenders & leads
And you work closely with our product development to support the redesign and further development of the product portfolio.

Wann du zu uns passt…

Your background:

A strong technical background, profound PV knowledge of advantage
Several years of professional experience in the PV industry or R&D or in similar areas (e.g. semiconductors)
Experience in sales is a plus
Fluent spoken and written English; German or other language skills are an advantage
Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads
A quick comprehension as well as a very careful and independent way of working
Good networking in PV industry and/or R&D desirable
Willingness to travel
You should have a good time management and know how to handle multiple tasks.

Im Handumdrehen vom Garagenstart zum Global Player.
In weniger als einem Jahrzehnt hat sich WAVELABS zu einem der etabliertesten Namen in der Solarmesstechnik entwickelt. Mittlerweile werden etwa 30% aller Solarzellensimulationen mit einem unserer Geräte durchgeführt.
Angefangen hat alles mit dem SINUS-220, einem innovativen LED-Blinker für Solarzellen. Bald wurde das Produktportfolio um mehrere weitere Sonnensimulatoren für den Einsatz in Forschung und Entwicklung sowie in der Massenproduktion erweitert.
Viele namhafte Photovoltaik-Hersteller setzen mittlerweile auf unsere Flasher in ihrer Produktion und in der Forschung.
Aktuell sind wir 100 Mitarbeiter und unser Hauptstandort ist Leipzig (mit ca. 70 Mitarbeiter:innen). Zusätzlich haben wir noch einen weiteren Standort in Münster und bauen gerade unsere Distributionsstandorte in China, Indien und den USA weiter aus.
Hybrides Arbeiten ist für uns Standard, regelmäßiges Zusammenkommen mit den Kollegen fördert allerdings den Zusammenhalt und das Wir-Gefühl, daher versuchen wir uns auch sehr regelmäßig im Büro zu sehen.
