How you will contribute to our success

Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and polish features by measuring their performance
Raise the engineering bar in the company, implementing best practices in the cross-team environment and mentoring more junior engineers
Champion the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic coding tools into the team's workflows to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality
Decompose the monolith, building a modern import/export pipeline to support hundreds of third-party integrations
Migrate the application environment from the private cloud to the AWS platform
Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
Solve technical design issues

You will thrive in this role if you

Have solid relevant experience in backend engineering
Are familiar with AI-assisted software development, including agentic coding tools and workflows
Have experience mentoring and developing team members, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback, and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Have solid experience with our technical stack:
- Modern PHP & Symfony
- Relational and non-relational databases
- Docker and containerized environments
Have a practical knowledge of:
- Designing and working with event-driven, asynchronous and integration-heavy systems
- Decomposing monolithic architectures
- Clean Code, SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development
Have experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Have excellent English communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team
