Sales & Business Development Manager Cable Industry

Reporting to: Sales Director / Commercial Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Cable segment. The role focuses on new customer acquisition, business development, key account management, and technical sales support for high-performance nonwoven material solutions used in power-, high-voltage-, offshore-, subsea-, and specialty cable applications.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers in international cable markets
• Manage and expand relationships with key accounts and strategic customers
• Conduct commercial and technical sales discussions, negotiations, and presentations
• Implement sales and business development plans aligned with company objectives
• Advise customers on suitable existing material solutions and product specifications
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments
• Support distributors and sales partners in market development activities
• Coordinate customer orders and delivery processes with Customer Service
   

Your Profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a comparable commercial/technical qualification
• Several years of experience in technical sales, business development, or key account management
• Experience in cable-, nonwoven-, composite-, or related industrial markets is advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Full professional proficiency in English, fluent German, knowledge of other European languages is an advantage
