Arbeitsbeschreibung - Sales Manager BESS Germany (all genders)

ABOUT US

At ACCURE, we empower batteries and those who use them.

Battery storage is becoming the backbone of the grid, and ACCURE makes sure those batteries deliver. We combine deep battery intelligence with hands-on performance engineering. That helps owners and operators earn more from their battery energy storage systems, spend less running them and keep them valuable for longer. Today we support 24+ GWh of BESS capacity for customers worldwide.

Our vision: to be the assurance and outperformance layer for grid-scale battery assets, delivering the power the market needs at exactly the right time.

Getting there takes people who can turn battery data into business results for our customers. At ACCURE, commercial, engineering and product experts from diverse backgrounds work side by side towards a clean energy future. We're looking for driven people to take our story to the DACH market and grow with our fast-growing international team.

Your Role

End-to-end ownership of the sales cycle: Own the full sales cycle for the DACH market, from lead generation to closing, account development, and upselling existing customers.
Lead qualification: Qualify leads rigorously and find the right people inside each organization of BESS owners, operators, and investors.
Value quantification: Build clear business cases that put a number on what our analytics deliver, from higher availability and revenue to longer asset life and lower risk.
Solution design: Work hand- in- hand with our Performance Engineering team to shape the right analytics solution for each customer’s needs.
Market presence: Represent ACCURE at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events, and build a strong network across the DACH energy storage ecosystem.
Customer voice: Bring what you hear in the market back to Product and Marketing to sharpen our offering and go-to-market strategy

Your Skills

Commercial track record: You have 5+ years in a commercial role such as sales, business development, or key account management, ideally in the battery energy storage segment or the renewables segment.
BESS know-how: Ideally, you understand how battery energy storage systems are built, operated, and monetized, and you know the key players in the energy space in the DACH market.
Value selling: You turn technical capabilities into a convincing business case and are comfortable talking numbers, ROI, and costs with asset owners and investors.
Self-starter mindset: You work independently, prioritize well, and enjoy leading the development of an innovative product in a fast-growing start-up.
Technical curiosity: You enjoy working with engineers and pick up data and analytics concepts quickly.
Languages: You are fluent in German (native-like level) and English (C1 or above), both written and spoken, additional language are valued.

Our Offer

Impact: Significant impact on product direction at a pivotal stage in the company’s commercial model.
Work-life-balance: Trust-based, flexible working hours, 30-day vacation entitlement.
Carnival: We love carnival. That's why we're giving you Rose Monday as an extra day of holiday. ALAAF!
Compensation: Performance-based compensation plan (range depending on experience level).
Remote or office based: It’s your choice – either work from our lovely office in Aachen, choose a co-working space wherever you live or work from home (somewhere in Europe).
Company events: Two 5-day company onsites per year + (remote) team events.
Never stop learning: Personal development plan and budget that you can actively shape.
A job that shapes the future and turns our planet greener one battery at a time.

At ACCURE, we're committed to cultivating an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion. We believe our unique qualities must be celebrated as they are critical to our innovation. It's essential to us that you bring your authentic self to work every single day, no matter your age, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, neurodiversity, or otherwise.
