As Sales Manager, you will lead sales efforts inGermany and other regions, focusing on Enghouse Transportation products. You will drive demand by educating prospects on industry trends, crafting innovative solutions, and executing winning strategies to secure new business and boost revenue. ThisHybrid role combines client visits with strategic planning and requires exceptional communication and sales expertise. You will report directly to the VP-Sales, Transportation.
Responsibilities:
Promote the company’s services and solutions to drive growth with up sales to the existing customers and the new clients through external relationships and networks with public organizations in particular in Fire, Police and Healthcare verticals
Manage complex sales, including navigating authority/government organizations and applying multiple selling strategies; experience managing RFP processes is essential.
Maintain visibility on relevant RFPs and tenders published in Germany and other regions.
Actively monitor sources (websites and platforms) where RFPs and tenders are published, selecting and prioritizing the most relevant opportunities.
Lead the multidisciplinary bid team in preparing proposals for RFPs and tenders, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements and alignment with functional and non-functional specifications and meeting the Enghouse’s financial targets.
Develop and execute pipeline strategies that support assigned sales goals and submit reliable forecasts
Anticipate customer requirements and challenges to ensure client success.
Engage in all phases of the sales lifecycle, including lead generation, client meetings, value proposition development, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, closing and aftersales care
Ensure all prospect and client interactions, as well as engagement opportunities, are accurately recorded in Salesforce.com (SFDC).
Qualifications & Experience:
Accomplished, high-energy salesperson with 5+ years of enterprise-level sales experience in transportation, transit, or the public safety industry, with a focus on Intelligent Transport Systems and Software.
Demonstrated success consistently exceeding revenue and quota targets.
Proven prospecting skills that deliver new business, ideally supported by existing relationships with public or private transit authorities.
Comfortable managing a multi-million-dollar quota.
Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify, penetrate, and close new business opportunities.
Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology is preferred and CRM tools
Familiarity with working within a corporate environment
