Become a true product specialist, able to advise our customers on how to fully exploit the benefits of our product
Present our software through remote demos and on-site events and maintain successful relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders and future users
Participate at sales events (fairs, startup events, etc.), network and create sales material to advertise our solutions
Help us to collect feedback to identify weaknesses and optimize our unique selling point (USP) positioning within the competition environment
Support us in developing new ideas and strategies to drive the development of our business in the marketplace
Represent internally the interests of the customers and contribute ideas to continuously improve the product and customer experience
Negotiate and close contracts with new customers
Support us in establishing the labforward Business Development & Sales Team
The key challenge for this job will be to deeply understand customer needs and business pain points in order to effectively translate our solutions into tangible value.Nice to have
Experience with a CRM tool
Basic understanding of Software APIs
Understanding of electronic lab notebooks (ELN), Laboratory information management systems (LIMS), laboratory execution systems (LES)
Basic understanding of software architecture
Basic understanding of lab device connectivity
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and internal partners effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
Self-motivated and proactive with innovative ideas to drive customer adoption and loyalty
Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting to changing needs
Ability to work across teams to deliver the best solutions to customers
Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, Relationship or Account Management roles, preferably in SaaS companies
Demonstrated ability to manage and grow accounts, nurture relationships, and achieve sales targets.
Experience in the biotech, R&D, or science industries is highly desirable, especially with a pre-established network
Experience working within a SaaS company
English: Fluent to business fluent (C1) German: Fluent to business fluent (C1)
Additional language skills that can assist in expanding into new markets are a significant advantage.
