Senior Compliance Expert Technical Consultant

Your tasks

• Lead consulting engagements across the range of Environmental & Regulatory Compliance projects to provide technical expertise with regards to regulations, technologies, and policies (e.g., TRGS, TA, REACH), acting as Wood’s key point of contact with project clients.
• Conduct and facilitate inspections and audits in the field of environmental protection and compliance.
• Support new client relationships and expand existing relationships; this includes developing proposals, pricing and client presentations.
• Manage projects effectively, working with project team members closely to complete tasks within project budget and time requirements.
• Actively collaborate with Wood’s global team to drive innovative solutions and provide quality service to our clients.

• Degree with a focus in environmental management, environmental science or related discipline.
• Knowledge of US environmental legislation, in particular US DoD regulations, is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical project management experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in environmental regulations, technologies and management systems (e.g., ISO standards) is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of English (verbal and written).
• Ability to organize and execute work independently.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite products.
• Willingness to travel domestically and, if needed, abroad.
