Senior Finance & Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Bright Capital is a leading private debt investor focused on the European lower middle market. We partner with ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams, providing flexible capital solutions that support growth, acquisitions, shareholder transitions, and long-term value creation.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Finance & Operations Manager who will help build and scale the internal infrastructure behind our platform. This is a highly visible role offering significant ownership and direct exposure to senior decision-makers.

You will work closely with the Managing Partners and play a key role in ensuring that our financial and operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the firm's long-term ambitions.

What You'll Do

Finance & Controlling

• Oversee cash management and banking relationships

• Manage and optimise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Improve management reporting processes

• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits

• Build transparent and decision-relevant reporting structures

Executive & Stakeholder Support

• Support shareholder, board, and advisory committee meetings

• Ensure reliable reporting and information flow across the organisation

• Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership on operational and financial matters

• Corporate Administration

• Coordinate contracts, corporate documentation, and compliance-related processes

• Maintain and improve internal administrative structures

• Help build a best-in-class operational foundation for future growth

Operations & Business Management

• Analyse and optimise internal processes across the organisation

• Implement scalable processes, systems, and tools

• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

• Document and standardise key workflows and governance processes

You are hands-on, highly organised, and enjoy taking ownership. Rather than maintaining the status quo, you look for opportunities to improve processes, create clarity, and drive execution.

You bring:

• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Several years of experience in Finance, Operations, Business Management or adjacent areas

• Hands-on problem-solving skills

• Experience improving processes and implementing operational structures

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

• Fluent German (C1+) and strong English language skills

• Work directly with experienced investors and entrepreneurs

• Take ownership of high-impact projects and core business processes
