PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are building one of the most ambitious commercial media businesses in travel retail, and we need a Senior Manager, B2B Marketing to own how the world sees it. This is a hands-on,high-visibility role reporting directly to the SVP Advertising & Commercialization. You will be the marketing engine behind a fast-scaling B2B business — shaping how brands, agencies, and partners experience Avolta Advertising across events, content, and every touchpoint of the sales journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Events & Experiences

• Own the full lifecycle of our flagship B2B events — from our annual Avolta Advertising Summit to intimate brand and agency dinners, conference presences, and partner roundtables


• Plan, produce, and deliver events end to end: concept, guest experience, logistics, budget, and post-event follow-up that converts attendance into pipeline

Thought Leadership & Content

• Drive our thought leadership agenda: industry reports, whitepapers, masterclasses, and speaking opportunities that position Avolta Advertising as the authority in travel media


• Manage research, editorial, and design partners to deliver publication-grade content on time and on brand

Sales Enablement & Collateral

• Own the sales collateral suite: pitch materials, product one-pagers, media kits, and rate-card support — always current, always on brand


• Build and maintain a case study engine: translate campaign results from world-class brand partners into compelling, reusable sales stories

Channel and Visibility

• Own the Avolta Advertising LinkedIn presence: editorial calendar, campaign highlights, report launches, and event amplification


• Manage trade press relations and award submissions across travel retail, media, and AdTech — building credibility where our clients and agency partners pay attention

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 6+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in media, AdTech, retail media, agency, or a comparable commercial environment


• A proven track record producing high-quality B2B events and long-form content (reports, whitepapers) with external partners


• Strong editorial judgment and copywriting skills in English; German is a plus


• A builder's mindset: comfortable being the first dedicated marketing hire in a scaling business unit, setting up structures while delivering at pace


• Commercial instinct — you understand that B2B marketing exists to support sales, and you measure your work by its impact on pipeline and brand perception


• Experience managing budgets, agencies, and freelance specialists (design, editorial, production)


• Willingness to travel internationally for events and key industry moments
