Senior Manager Business Development- Road Freight (m/w/d)

We are seeking a commercially driven professional to develop and grow a personal Book of Business (BoB) within the branch's geographical territory. In this role, you will execute company commercial strategies, promote our products and services, and drive sustainable business growth. You will be responsible for delivering strong P&L performance by effectively managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining healthy margins across your portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on branch performance while contributing to overall business success.

Deine Aufgaben: 

• Develop and grow a portfolio of customers within the high-tech logistics sector by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
• Design and sell value-added logistics solutions, including network distribution, two-man handling, white-glove delivery, on-site installation, and end-to-end supply chain services to meet customer needs.
• Achieve revenue, margin, and sales targets by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving profitable business growth.
• Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure competitive solutions, seamless service delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain accurate CRM records to track opportunities, monitor account performance, strengthen relationships, and support sustainable business growth.

Dein Profil:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in freight management, with strong knowledge of transportation, logistics operations, and supply chain solutions.
• Minimum 4+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving profitable growth.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities, develop leads from scratch, penetrate new markets, and convert prospects into long-term customers, particularly within Road Freight (FTL/LTL).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with the capability to build strong customer relationships and influence key stakeholders.
•  Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
