- Own the marketing domain, including performance marketing and analytics, especially for our programs and formats: build audience journeys, funnels, and campaigns across paid, social, and content channels to drive dealflow, participation, and reach; define objectives and KPIs, use data to test and improve results, and make sure campaigns are backed by the right materials (briefs, messaging frameworks, channel plans, landing-page requirements, creative assets, measurement plans).
- Bring senior judgement on how events, social channels, and content marketing fit together: understanding platform/algorithm mechanics and deciding what materials and assets are needed to run an integrated, proactive marketing system.
- Lead media relations and PR: proactively identify story opportunities, develop pitches and press materials, prepare spokespeople, and manage relationships with journalists and PR agencies.
- Support CEO and leadership communications by developing and delivering content and visibility plans in line with the Director's strategic direction.
- Integrate marketing into program and event planning (with the Event Manager, who owns event operations and delivery) and into CRM/data/automation implementation (with AI & Digital colleagues), so audience journeys and measurement work end to end.
- Coordinate external agencies, freelancers and internal contributors, providing clear briefs, constructive feedback and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain a forward-looking campaign calendar and practical workflows/briefing routines that keep priorities visible, flag capacity or timing conflicts, and reduce avoidable last-minute work.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and integration for the team running content marketing and events, connecting their work into the broader performance and campaign strategy and helping them deliver to agreed priorities and quality standards.
- Monitor delivery and outcomes, using audience response and performance data to recommend practical improvements.
