Arbeitsbeschreibung - Software & Automation Engineer (m/f/d) / Naval

CT Engineering Group is a European -based international engineering company. CT is all about technology and innovation. Our 1.800 engineers are working closely with our customers from design to manufacturing and beyond. We are active in the following sectors: Aerospace, Defense, Naval, Automotive, Rail Transport, Energy and Industrial Plants. We are focused on growth and are therefore filling several positions at Hamburg, Bremen and Stade sites.

For our location in Hamburg or Bremen (hybrid working model) we are looking for a

Software & Automation Engineer (m/f/d) / Naval

The main tasks are:

Development and integration of Marine technical automation systems
Creation and maintenance of I/O (measurement point) lists
Definition and documentation of system logic and states
Integration of command and control systems
Preparation of technical verification drawings
Support during system testing and commissioning
Execution of functional tests of system interfaces
Preparation of technical documentation and reports
Version management and configuration control
Support in troubleshooting and system optimization

Voraussetzungen

University degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience in the development of technical software or automation systems
Knowledge of industrial communication interfaces
Experience in testing and commissioning processes
Structured and analytical working approach
Strong documentation skills
Fluent English (business level)
German language skills are an advantage
