The Position:

The Senior Regional Business Manager, DACH leads strategic commercial expansion for the Prosigna Breast Cancer Assay and future oncology diagnostic innovations across the DACH region. This role requires deep scientific fluency, advanced strategic account leadership, and the ability to shape regional market development while partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs. You’ll operate with broad autonomy to unlock growth, influence clinical and diagnostic adoption, and provide insights that shape the future direction of our oncology portfolio—all while exemplifying our values of collaboration, curiosity, integrity, and a commitment to excellence every day.

  • Deliver and consistently exceed sales and growth targets across the DACH region through effective strategic planning, execution, and long-range forecasting.

  • Develop multi-layered strategic business plans for key accounts—including academic centers, community oncology networks, and commercial laboratories—reflecting deep understanding of regional market dynamics and system-level influencers.

  • Establish and advance high-impact relationships with senior clinical decision makers, pathology leaders, oncology KOLs, and diagnostic laboratory executives.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, demonstrating advanced scientific, clinical, and technical acumen to educate stakeholders on oncology diagnostics and clinical evidence.

  • Lead the identification, qualification, and conversion of new business opportunities, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize market development and accelerate adoption.

  • Shape differentiated value messaging tailored to diverse decision makers, including clinical, operational, economic, and executive stakeholders.

  • Represent the voice of the customer at a senior level, offering strategic field insights that influence product strategy, commercial planning, and future product development.

  • Drive regional diagnostic access by expanding and managing relationships with commercial laboratories and scientific partners.

  • Oversee complex territory prioritization, resource allocation, and pipeline management with strong analytical rigor.

  • Provide high-quality competitive intelligence, regional trends, and strategic viewpoints to internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain expert-level proficiency with CRM, sales analytics, and account management systems to support forecasting and business planning.

  • Ensure complete compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, while upholding documentation requirements in systems such as OBSYS and Media-Lab.

  • Model excellence in collaboration, communication, and accountability, supporting cross-functional alignment and coaching peers when appropriate.

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of successful commercial experience in oncology pharmaceuticals, biotech, or diagnostics, with demonstrated excellence in selling clinically complex products.

  • Proven success owning and growing a large, complex geographic region with minimal oversight, showing high autonomy consistent with Senior Professional / Senior Manager-level expectations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field.

  • Documented top-tier performance in sales execution, strategic account management, and market expansion.

  • Advanced scientific and clinical knowledge in oncology, including the ability to interpret clinical publications and engage in high-level scientific discussions.

  • Strong track record of influencing senior clinical decision makers, multidisciplinary teams, and diagnostic leadership.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across clinical, operational, and executive levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to build sophisticated account plans grounded in data, insights, and market analysis.

  • Strong analytical abilities, including assessment of market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and financial considerations.

  • Highly self-directed, organized, and effective in a remote field-based role.

  • Ability to represent the company with credibility, integrity, and professionalism at a senior level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or related).

  • Prior senior-level experience launching diagnostics, oncology products, or molecular assays in the DACH region.

  • Established network among oncology KOLs, diagnostic laboratory executives, and regional healthcare decision makers.
