Supply Chain Manager

Our client, an international manufacturing company, is recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities: 

• Formulate the supply chain strategy, optimize the entire processes including procurement, production, warehouse logistics, etc., and reduce costs while improving efficiency; 
  

• Manage supplier relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and promote cooperation optimization and risk management and control; 
  

• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate demand forecasting and planning, ensure the balance between supply and demand, and reduce inventory backlogs and shortages. 
  

• Lead supply chain digitalization projects, such as optimizing existing systems, and improve the levels of automation and information; 
  

• Collaborate across departments (production, sales, finance, etc.), solve sudden supply chain problems, and ensure delivery timeliness; 
  

• Analyze industry trends and formulate sustainable development strategies. 
  

Basic skills requirement: 

• Bachelor's degree or above. Those majoring in supply chain management, logistics management and other related majors will be preferred; 
  

• More than 5 years of supply chain management experience. Experience in large-scale manufacturing industries is preferred; 
  

• Proficient in supply chain planning, procurement management, and logistics operations, and familiar with the operation of ERP systems; 
  

• Have strong data analysis, cost control and project management capabilities, as well as strong cross- departmental communication and coordination abilities; 
  

• Fluent in English or German.
