Finance & Accounting Intern - Lunar X

As an intern in  the Finance Department you will be involved in various financial tasks, including but not limited to budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting. As a student or recent graduate this will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance when you are tackling topics of high strategic impact together with a team of motivated and experienced individuals.

Financial Analysis

• Assist in creating and updating financial models and forecasts.

• Perform variance analysis to compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

Accounting Support

• Help in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Assist with month-end financial reports.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports.

Data Management

• Maintain financial databases, spreadsheets, and reports.

• Analyse data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.

Budgeting Support

• Contribute to the preparation of departmental budgets.

• Track expenses against budget and flag any discrepancies.

Administrative Tasks

• Support the Finance team in daily administrative tasks as needed.

• Attend team meetings and take notes.

• Currently enrolled in at least the fourth semester of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or recently graduated, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.

• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a minimum proficiency level of B1/B2 required for this position.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Have availability for a minimum of 3 to 6 months.

• To qualify for this role, candidates are required to reside and be officially registered in Berlin, Germany.
