Do you want to play an active role in shaping the strategy of a rapidly growing scale-up? As our Strategy & M&A Intern, you won't just be a bystander—you'll be at the very core of our work. You'll partner directly with our Senior Vice President Strategy & Growth (a key member of our management team and board) and the entire leadership team. You will analyze market and business data, structure challenges with a clear, hypothesis-driven mindset, and develop actionable recommendations. Whether it's corporate strategy, go-to-market, product focus, or potential M&A projects, you'll provide the data-driven insights that drive our growth.

- Product Strategy: Assessing our product strategy and differentiation, including identifying strengths, gaps, and key development areas.
- Persona and Buyer Journey Analysis: Deconstructing customer personas and buyer journeys to derive strategic positioning and consistent messaging.
- Go-to-Market Metrics: Investigating core GTM metrics (e.g., pipeline coverage, win rates) to identify crucial growth drivers.
- M&A Screening: Systematically screening for potential M&A targets with clear criteria for efficient initial evaluations.
- Financial Modeling: Building preliminary valuation models for potential M&A targets, including assumptions and sensitivities.
- Potentially: Supporting due diligence and contributing to the early phases of in-depth reviews.
What you bring to the table
- You're currently pursuing a Master's or advanced Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, Economics, or a related field.
- You work in a structured, hypothesis-driven way with a strong focus on execution.
- Initial practical experience in Strategy Consulting, Advisory (e.g., Big 4), Business Development, or M&A is a major plus.
- Industry knowledge in Software, SaaS, or Tech is a huge advantage.
- You're proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and can create visually compelling presentations for management and the board that get straight to the point.
- You have strong communication skills in German and English, and you're clear and persuasive in both speaking and writing.
- You are proactive, reliable, and a true team player through and through.
