As NavVis continues to grow internationally, our Legal team supports the business across a broad range of legal topics. We are looking for a Working Student in Legal Operations to support the team with day-to-day activities while gaining practical experience in an international technology company.
You will contribute to our transition from AI-assisted to AI-native legal operations. Working closely with the Legal team and other departments, you will gain hands-on experience in legal technology, knowledge management, intellectual property coordination, and process improvement.
Coordinate intellectual property matters by facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and external patent attorneys on patents, trademarks, and designs
Support the evaluation and rollout of legal technology, including AI-powered solutions
Build and maintain AI-supported workflows that help advance our legal operations
Create templates, guidelines, and internal documentation that enable effective tool adoption
Organize and maintain the Legal team’s knowledge base, self-service resources, contracts, and legal records
Conduct legal research and summarize findings clearly for the team
Support corporate, privacy, and data protection matters based on the team’s priorities
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Order Management, and other departments while owning smaller projects and process improvements
Currently enrolled in law, business law, or a comparable program with a solid grasp of basic legal principles
A structured, detail-oriented approach to organizing information and documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, project management tools such as Jira, or a legal working environment is a plus
Strong written and spoken English skills; German language skills are a plus
Interest in intellectual property and an eagerness to learn about patent, trademark, and design processes in a technology company
Curiosity about legal technology and AI tools, with an interest in improving how an in-house Legal team works
