Werkstudent (w/m/d) – Maschinenbau

Über die Rolle

Bei Frigoblock, einem Teil von Trane Technologies, entwickeln wir die nächste Generation nachhaltiger Transportkältesysteme. Als Werkstudent (w/m/d) im Bereich Maschinenbau unterstützt du die Konstruktion und Entwicklung mechanischer Komponenten und Systeme für zukunftsorientierte Transportanwendungen und sammelst gleichzeitig wertvolle praktische Erfahrung in einem innovativen F&E-Umfeld.

Deine Aufgaben

• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung neuer Transportkältesysteme und mechanischer Komponenten
• Mitarbeit bei Prototypenaufbauten und der Musterfertigung
• Erstellung und Überarbeitung technischer Dokumentation, wie Zeichnungen, Stücklisten und konstruktionsbezogener Unterlagen
• Unterstützung bei Testaktivitäten, Messungen und der Auswertung von Entwicklungsergebnissen
• Mitwirkung an ausgewählten projektbezogenen Aufgaben und deren eigenständige Weiterentwicklung
• Arbeit mit modernen Engineering- und Entwicklungstools, insbesondere in Konstruktion und Dokumentation
• Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams aus Produktion, Montage, Test, Qualität und Service
• Unterstützung des Tagesgeschäfts im Engineering in den Bereichen Produktentwicklung und Konstruktion

Dein Profil

• Eingeschrieben im Studiengang Maschinenbau oder in einem vergleichbaren technischen Studiengang
• Mindestens noch ein Jahr Reststudienzeit
• Solides Verständnis mechanischer Konstruktion, ingenieurwissenschaftlicher Grundlagen und technischer Dokumentation
• Erste Kenntnisse in Produktionsmethoden, Fertigungsprozessen und Werkstoffen sind von Vorteil
• Strukturierte, zuverlässige und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
• Hohes Maß an Motivation, Engagement und Eigeninitiative
• Interesse an praktischer Entwicklungsarbeit und modernen Engineering-Tools
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Gute Kenntnisse in Microsoft Office

Wünschenswert

• Erste praktische Erfahrungen durch Praktika, Projekte oder Laborarbeit
• Erste Erfahrungen mit Prototypenaufbauten oder konstruktionsbezogenen Aufgaben
• Kenntnisse in Tools wie Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter oder ähnlicher Software
• Praktische technische Erfahrung oder eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung sind ein Plus

Working Student (f/m/d) – Mechanical Engineering

About the Role

At Frigoblock, part of Trane Technologies, we are developing the next generation of sustainable transport refrigeration systems. As a Working Student (f/m/d) in Mechanical Engineering, you will support the design and development of mechanical components and systems for future-focused transport applications while gaining valuable hands-on experience in an innovative R&D environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development of new transport refrigeration systems and mechanical components
• Assist with prototype builds and sample production
• Create and revise technical documentation such as drawings, parts lists, and design-related records
• Support testing activities, measurements, and evaluation of development results
• Contribute to selected project-related tasks and drive them forward independently
• Work with modern engineering and development tools, especially in design and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, assembly, testing, quality, and service
• Support day-to-day engineering activities in product development and design

Your Profile

• Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical degree program
• At least one year remaining in your studies
• Solid understanding of mechanical design, engineering fundamentals, and technical documentation
• Initial knowledge of production methods, manufacturing processes, and materials is an advantage
• Structured, reliable, and self-driven way of working
• High level of motivation, engagement, and willingness to take initiative
• Interest in practical development work and modern engineering tools
• Good German and English language skills, written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice to Have

• Initial practical experience through internships, projects, or laboratory work
• First experience with prototype builds or design-related tasks
• Knowledge of tools such as Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter, or similar software
• Hands-on technical experience or vocational training is a plus
