Job Description - Application Analyst, Data Platform (1-year contract)

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring smooth system operations, governance, and ongoing service stability (BAU support).
  • Work with business users to collect, document, and convert requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Oversee system development activities including coding, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Monitor progress of development and support tasks, ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Perform SIT/UAT support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, release management).


Key Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of application development/support experience.
  • Experience with Python, Databricks, Power BI; knowledge of Java, Autosys, SAP BO, or Crystal Reports is a plus.
  • Familiar with SDLC, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Able to analyze system issues, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Good English and Chinese communication skills; asset management experience is an advantage.
