My client is a well-established bank within the financial services industry.

Job Description

As a Data Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

Partner with business stakeholders across Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Insurance, and support functions to understand business requirements and analytical needs.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and business performance insights.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and management reports using Tableau.
Extract, cleanse, transform, and validate data from multiple sources using SQL and Python.
Present analytical findings and recommendations confidently to business and management stakeholders.
Support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making initiatives across the organization.
Collaborate with technology, data governance, and business teams to ensure data quality and reporting accuracy.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Analyst should have:

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant Data Analyst experience within Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services industries.
Experience supporting business stakeholders and delivering data-driven insights in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
Proven experience in Tableau dashboard development and data visualization.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Knowledge of banking or insurance products and business processes is highly preferred.
Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (spoken and written).
