Job Description

Develop and manage end-to-end data pipelines, from data collection and ETL to reporting and dashboard visualisation
Handle both recurring and ad hoc data requests from business teams with analytical insights
Build and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions
Support and enhance applications across the data and investment technology stack (Python, SQL, VBA, scripting tools)
Investigate and resolve data-related issues while ensuring strong data governance practices
Provide user support for data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions
Contribute to ongoing projects and support ad hoc technology initiatives

The Successful Applicant

Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or integration development
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
Proven experience with SQL, ETL processes, and building data pipelines
Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau, Python, R, or Excel
Understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and integration concepts
Exposure to financial data, investment workflows, or automation tools is advantageous
Knowledge of tools such as UiPath or Apache Airflow is a plus
Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in English and Chinese
Self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills
