Data specialist

About the role

We are looking for a data-driven professional to support our data initiatives, improve data quality, and help turn raw data into reliable business insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to support data transformation, reporting, analytics, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and maintain data from multiple sources.
• Support data pipeline development, data loading, and data validation activities.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and issue troubleshooting.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate outputs.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, or datasets for business use.
• Ensure data is secure, accurate, consistent, and accessible.
• Document processes, data definitions, and technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data processing, ETL/ELT, or data operations.
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar.
• Ability to work with notebooks, scripts, or automation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is a must.

Preferred Skills

• Python or another programming language.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, or data governance.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Understanding of production support or incident management.
