Your new role

• Produce reports: Independently research, analyze, and draft comprehensive background reports from start to finish.
• Investigate risks: Conduct focused desktop research in English and Chinese, using open sources like media, litigation records, and company filings.
  
• Write clear insights: Transform complex findings into concise, informative summaries for business stakeholders.
  
• Validate sources: Critically assess accuracy, reliability, and relevance of information.
  
• Collaborate globally: Work closely with regional and global teams to provide timely updates and responsive support.
  
• Support projects: Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and special projects that shape risk management strategies.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in due diligence, investigations, or related fields.
  
• Language skills: Strong proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  
• Research expertise: Background in investigations, intelligence, or postgraduate research.
  
• Regional knowledge: Strong understanding of Asia Pacific's business and political landscape.
  
• Education: Degree from a recognized international university; AML/Fraud certifications are a plus.
