Full Stack Developer - React

This prestigious MNC Bank is looking for a Full Stack Developer with expertise and experience within Full stack Development and React experience to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across front-end and backend components.
• Build scalable web applications with React as the primary front-end framework
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, or .NET
• Contribute to system architecture, including microservices design and distributed systems
• Develop reusable, maintainable UI components using React, TypeScript, and modern state management (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Implement high-performance interfaces for data-heavy applications (e.g., trading dashboards, research portals)
• Optimise front-end performance, responsiveness, and real-time data rendering
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers (Figma) to deliver production-ready UI
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ) for event-driven architecture
• Manage data flows across applications, including integration with trading/risk systems
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
• Work closely with front office users (trading, sales, research) to deliver business-critical functionalities
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with global teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Provide production support and ongoing system enhancements

What you'll need to succeed

• 7-10 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong full-stack expertise with - React.js, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend development experience - Java (Spring Boot) / Node.js / .NET, Microservices architecture and REST APIs
  
• Database experience - SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL), Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
  
• Additional exposure - Kafka / messaging systems, Docker / Kubernetes / cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
  
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale applications across frontend and backend
• Strong experience building React-based applications in production environments
• Prior experience in investment banking / financial services / trading platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments
• Self-driven with an ownership mindset across full-stack delivery
