Full Stack Developer - UI

This prestigious MNC Bank is looking for a Full Stack Developer with expertise and experience with Full Stack Development and UI to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role

• Lead the design and development of responsive, high-performance web applications for trading, research, or internal banking platforms
• Build scalable UI architectures and reusable component libraries
• Translate UI/UX designs (e.g., Figma) into production-ready code with strong attention to detail
• Drive best practices in UI performance, state management, and frontend architecture
• Optimise applications for real-time data visualisation and large datasets
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, or .NET
• Contribute to microservices architecture and system integration across trading/risk platforms
• Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless front-to-back integration
• Handle data processing and integration with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Engage directly with front office users (trading, sales, research) to gather requirements
• Translate business needs into technical UI solutions (with strong UX awareness)
• Collaborate with global development teams in an Agile environment
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery and provide production support where required

What you'll need to succeed

• 7-10 years of hands-on software development experience (full stack with strong UI focus)
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale web applications
• Prior experience in investment banking / financial services / trading systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience working on front office or real-time data platforms is a big advantage.
• Strong front-end expertise - Angular (Angular with ngrx or is a strong plus), JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  
• Solid backend experience - Java (Spring Boot) / Node.js / .NET, Microservices and RESTful APIs
  
• Database experience - SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL), Exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
  
• Additional exposure (nice-to-have): Figma / UI/UX workflows, Kafka / messaging systems, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
  
• Strong stakeholder communication (especially with front office users).
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to take technical ownership
