Job Description - IT Support Engineer (Financial firm)

We are currently looking for a talented IT Support Engineer for one of our most sizeable financial clients.

Your Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for technical support on Windows hardware, software, and network-related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
Provide support for Windows operating systems, VMware environments, and backup operations
Execute routine operational tasks and manage IT asset inventory records
Document standard procedures for support and operations, contributing to the internal knowledge base
Assist in coordinating and implementing IT projects
Offer after-hours system support and emergency troubleshooting when required

Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2+ years of solid experience in Windows system support
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure Cloud services
Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware
Sound understanding of storage systems and networking fundamentals
Strong team collaboration skills, effective communication, and excellent organisational abilities
Self-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering quality service
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
