Network Engineer (Datacentre / SDN / Automation)

As a Network Specialist you will develop, maintain and implement next-generation datacentre network infrastructure including different brand of network switches, routers and firewalls. You should have experience in software-defined networking with automation skills for device configuration management, orchestration and provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide day-to-day operations support on network infrastructure including configuration, administration, health check, traffic analysis and problem resolution.
2. Participate in network and security enhancement and revamp projects.
3. Serve as subject matter expert to the team in the areas of data network design, capabilities, operation, and maintenance.

Requirements:

1. University degree in information technology, computer engineering or related fields.
2. At least 7-year experience in implementation and support of large-scale mission critical network infrastructure.
3. Proven expertise and hands-on experience in a subset of the following: o Routing and switching such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, QoS, VXLAN, SD-WAN, VRF and VPN o Spine-Leaf network architecture and SDN (e.g. Cisco ACI) o Firewalls o Network segmentation.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills on data, voice and video networks.
5. In-depth knowledge in network segmentation through various technologies such as routing and virtual networking.
6. Ambitions to learn new technologies as well as a good team player.
7. Good writing and communication skills
8. Trilingual: English, Cantonese, Mandarin

Preferred Skills:

1. Professional certifications: CCNP / CCIE / CISSP or equivalent
2. Hands on experience in cloud virtual networking and security especially Zero Trust network security models and deployment
3. Experience in programming language (e.g. Python) and Ansible for network automation
4. Hands on experience in design and implementation on various brand network equipment
