The Organization Team drives cross-functional initiatives across the bank, including innovation, process optimization, core system enhancements, business continuity, and IT security, reporting to senior operational leadership in APAC and Hong Kong.
This role focuses on strengthening operational resilience by supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of resilience frameworks, conducting business impact assessments, and coordinating scenario testing. It involves close collaboration with business continuity, risk, and regional teams to ensure effective, compliant, and fit-for-purpose strategies.
The position requires strong communication, collaboration, and process improvement skills, offering solid exposure to operational resilience and business continuity practices.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Resilience
Support governance, development, implementation, and management of the operational resilience framework in line with regulatory requirements
Respond to local regulator requirements and report progress to internal committees
Monitor emerging regulations, trends, and threats in operational resilience and business continuity
Create and maintain documentation and reporting
Identify and map important business services and dependencies (technology, people, facilities, third-party providers)
Lead scenario testing to validate recovery capabilities under extreme but plausible scenarios
Monitor, assess, and report on critical operations resilience; propose enhancements as needed
Collaborate with local stakeholders, regional and HO RMC teams
Business Continuity
Support BCP/DRP Plan Manager in developing and maintaining branch BCP/DRP plans, cross BCP plan, isolation plan andtests
Assist Regional COO and APAC Head of RMA in monitoring, proposing, and implementing BCP/DRP, cross BCP, isolation solutions for Hong Kong as the APAC hub
Experience
Proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, or related fields within a financial institution
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and frameworks
Familiarity with risk management methodologies and tools
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage resilience and continuity frameworks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence senior executives
Experience leading incident response, crisis management, and scenario testing
Experience with third-party risk management in financial services
