Our client is a leading international bank. They are looking for a Senior KDB Developer to support them as a contractor in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop core components of the Global FX MI and Analytics platform.
• Collaborate with quants and electronic trading technology teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Design and architect scalable tick data, access feeds, and analytic solutions.
• Implement API functionality and expand shared tools, components, and APIs.

Key Requirements

• Proven years of experience as KDB/q developer with strong coding proficiency.
• Expert knowledge of q language structures and ability to write performant code.
• Hands-on experience with KDB tick architecture and large-scale data handling.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to query, analyze, and combine vast market/trade datasets.
• Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD/BDD) with emphasis on specification-based testing.
• Exposure to full SDLC including build automation, deployment, and production support.
