Job Description

As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing portfolio accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports for alternative investments.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assisting in the preparation of audit and tax documents.
Monitoring and reconciling investment transactions and valuations.
Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
Providing insights and analysis on portfolio performance and trends.
Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA (preferred).
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and portfolio accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
