Job Description - Administrative Support Assistant (MSc Learning Hub) - School of Business and Management 香港科技大學商學院碩士課

The appointee will join the MSc Learning Hub (located in Kwun Tong central business district) of HKUST Business School to provide general administrative support. Duties include setting up venue and equipment for courses; providing on-site support for classes and events (setting up AV equipment and laptops, etc.); and providing general administrative, clerical and logistic support to the general office. He/She will also handle and deliver mail/parcels; and respond to inquiries from faculty, guests, and students; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/management.

The appointee will need to work on shift and occasionally on weekends and public holidays. Working outside normal office hours is required.

Applicants should have completed secondary school education or above, preferably with at least two years of relevant work experience. Experience in the education sector or customer service would be an advantage. The ideal candidate should have a service-oriented mindset; a strong sense of responsibility; good communication skills. Good computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, and Chinese typing); knowledge and/or experience in using basic AV equipment; and fluency in Cantonese with good spoken English and Putonghua are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.

受聘者將加入香港科技大學商學院位於觀塘中央商業區設立的碩士課程教學中心,負責日常行政工作。職責包括為課程設置場地和設備;為課堂及活動提供現場支援(設置視聽設備和電腦等);以及為辦公室提供一般行政、文書和後勤支援。受聘者也需處理和遞送郵件/包裹;回應教職員、訪客和學生的查詢;並執行主管/管理階層指派的其他職務。

受聘者須輪班工作,並在部分週末和公眾假期工作;亦須在正常辦公時間以外工作。

申請人須具備中學或以上程度學歷,而具有至少兩年相關工作經驗者優先。有教育界或客戶服務經驗者將獲優先考慮。受聘者應具有以服務為本的心態;強烈的責任感;良好的溝通能力;良好的電腦操作技能(例如Word、Excel和中文打字);具備使用基本影音設備的知識及/或經驗;並必須能操流利廣東話以及良好英語和普通話。(合約為期兩年,可續聘。)

薪酬將視乎資歷及經驗而定,並享有包括年假、醫療及牙科福利。合約期滿將獲發約滿酬金。
