Job Description - AI & Automation Engineer (Perm, up to 60k)

We are partnering with a Fintech which would seek for technical talent to lead the charge in building internal AI capabilities, designing automation frameworks, and developing the business optimization tools for operational excellence.

About the job
  • Design and deploy internal AI-powered tools, automation scripts, and optimization systems to streamline manual business processes.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Marketing to identify operational pain points and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows and internal prototypes using a mix of coding, API integrations, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Develop and maintain real-time management dashboards (Power BI) to provide visibility into key performance metrics across the Group.
  • Pilot and implement emerging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance company-wide productivity and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish reusable AI frameworks and contribute to the company's long-term AI transformation.
Requirements
  • With at least 2-3 years in AI solution design, workflow automation, or business process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (ChatGPT/Claude), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and API-based integrations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to coordinate with regional stakeholders and China-based tech teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and build systems from scratch in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex business workflows and convert them into practical, user-friendly digital tools.
