Head of Finance

We are seeking a Head of Finance for a HK incorporate Bank.

You will lead the local finance department and oversee all aspects of financial accounting and controls, regulatory, tax and management reporting, financial performance analysis, balance sheet management, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In Charge of overall Finance Department work

• Lead Budget and Forecast process and Capital planning

• Perform regular financial performance analysis

• Oversee the Asset Liability Management (ALM) function for the Bank

• Report Financial performance to board members

• Closely monitor compliance with local capital adequacy and other local statutory requirement, and alert for the management for necessary actions

• Coordinate with external related parties like auditors to complete interim review and annual audit

• Collaborate with the ALCO to manage & optimise the liquidity position.

• Review HKMA returns to ensure the accuracy

• Liaise with local regulator(s) for different requests and inquiries

• Review accounting treatment for new product

• Handle FATCA and CRS reporting

Job Requirement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance/ Business, professional qualification of CFA/FRM or equivalent is an advantage

• Minimum 10~15+ years solid experience in Bank Finance better to have experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, capital and liquidity management

• Deep understanding of HK Banking Ordinance and HKMA supervisory policies

• Experience in preparation of financial disclosures is essential and FATCA and CRS reporting.

• Good knowledge on bank products and regulatory requirements

• Proactive and energetic

• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving skill and strong Leadership
