Your role

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on the macroeconomic conditions, geopolitical development and government policies of major Asian economies, with special emphasis on China, Japan and India.


• Work closely with other investment professionals at the Asia Investment Platform to form the Asia investment views.


• Contribute to the global macro research team in forming and evaluating global macroeconomic scenarios. Contribute to the investment strategy discussions at the PWM Global Investment Committee.


• Communicate research results with other internal stakeholders, including investment specialists and relationship managers, via written publications and presentations.


• Elaborate PWM house views to clients and media.

Your profile

Your profile

• Master degree in Economics from a leading university.


• At least eight years of experience in conducting macroeconomic research on Asia. Past experience in a buy-side institution is a plus.


• Have a deep understanding of the evolving economic dynamics in Asia. Be able to form views on both cyclical economic changes as well as secular trends.


• Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation skills.


• Fluence in English. Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
